These instructions guide Connexity users to set up the reporting and delivery of required attribution data to Connexity using Google Search Ads 360 (SA360). It is critical to provide daily delivery of attribution data files for ecommerce transactions from Connexity campaign clicks. This data provides signals needed to inform the ad placement and budget optimization that keeps your campaign delivering on performance goals and ultimately growing over time.

**Important: Please ensure that network settings allow data flow between our systems by enabling our domains and IP addresses. Please do this before testing with your Account Manager. You can find network access setting instructions here.
Step 1: Attribution Setup
The first step is to set up attribution tracking for Connexity using Google Search Ads 360 (SA360).

1. Create a New Engine Account in SA360
First, create a new Engine Account in SA360 that will specifically track for Connexity.
- Locate the Advertiser that will contain the Engine Account.
- Click the Engine Accounts tab and create New > Other Engines.

The Settings Panel for the new Engine Account appears. Enter a name for the account to track Connexity.
Note: Enter an account name that contains Connexity for consistency and easy identification. - In the Launch field, select a date for tracking to start (This is an optional field)
- Enter the engine settings.
- Click Save.
2. Generate Clickserver URL
After creating a new Engine Account for Connexity, you will now create a Clickserver URL that will be used to track performance unique to Connexity.
- Navigate to the Connexity account.
- In the left menu pane, click Keywords.
- Add a Keyword by clicking the "+" symbol
- Add the landing page URL as the Final URL.
- Click the Columns button at the top of the report table.
- Add Desktop Clickserver URL as a column to the report.
- Click the Download button and select a file type.
- Open the downloaded file. Locate the tracking URL in the Desktop Clickserver URL column.
- Share the Tracking URL with your account manager.

Integrate Universal Analytics with SA360 (optional)
Follow these instructions if you want to connect SA360 to your Google Universal Analytics account.
- Navigate to Advertiser settings in the left menu.
- Open the Integrations drop-down, select Conversion API.
- Toggle this On, and click Save.
- Open the Integrations drop-down, select Google Analytics integration. Toggle this On, and enter your UA Property ID in the Web property tracking ID, and click Save.
- Next, in the Available Views section, select 'Google Analytics' (or the most relevant view).

Step 2: Setup Custom Parameters
This step provides an overview of how to setup tracking of custom data points by creating custom Floodlight variables with CM360 and custom dimensions in SA360. This data will be used to create and deliver the custom reports in the next section. It's best to refer to Google's instructions for these steps.

1. Create Custom Floodlight Variables in CM360
A Custom Floodlight Variable needs to be created for the Order ID (created & controlled by the merchant) as well as the Connexity Click ID (passed as URL parameters in every redirect). The standard URL parameter for this Connexity Click ID is 'cnxclid', but alternative parameter names can be coordinated with Connexity support.

2. Update Floodlight Tags in CM360
Once the custom Floodlight variables have been created, you’ll need to update your site’s Floodlight tags to include the new variables. The exact method of this step depends on the specific tag/tag manager implementation.

3. Create Custom Dimensions in SA360
After creating the custom Floodlight variables and updating your site’s Floodlight tags, you’ll then navigate to SA360 where you’ll create custom dimensions that are linked to the new Floodlight variables.

Step 3: Create & Schedule Reports
These instructions guide Connexity users to create required reports and setup report delivery in Google Search Ads 360 (SA360).

1. Setup Click-level Report
- Navigate to Reports in the SA360.
- Select + Custom and navigate to the Table option in the dropdown menu.

Rename the report to [Merchant Name] [MID] Connexity SOT Report
*Replace with your brand/merchant name* *You can find your CNX merchant ID (MID) on your Home Tab on CNX portal*
- Add Day dimension as a Row to the report.
- Add Account dimension as a row to the report. Apply a Filter to the Account dimension with the filter value defined as Connexity.
- Add the custom dimension for click id to the report as a column.
- Add the custom dimension for order id to the report as a column.
- Add Conv. value metric as a Column to the report.
9. Use the Calendar function to set the date range of the report to Yesterday.
10. Next, Automate report delivery by selecting the Schedule button. Apply the following details to schedule the report:
- Select Daily at 8:00 am EST.
- Select .csv format.
- Add recipient as: cnx_order_reports@connexity.com
- Click Schedule.
11. Save the report to finish automating the report.
2. Setup Top Line Report
These instructions guide Connexity users to set up Top Line reporting delivery using Google Search Ads 360 (SA360).
- Navigate to Reports in the SA360.
- Select + Custom and navigate to the Table option in the dropdown menu.

Rename the report to [Merchant Name] [MID] Connexity Topline Report
*Replace with your brand/merchant name* *You can find your CNX merchant ID (MID) on your Home Tab on CNX portal*
- Add Day dimension as a Row to the report.
- Add Account dimension as a row to the report. Apply a Filter to the Account dimension with the filter value defined as Connexity.
- Add Conv. value metric as a Column to the report.
- Use the Calendar function to set the date range of the report to Last 30 days.

Next, automate report delivery by selecting the Schedule button. Apply the following details to schedule the report:
- Select Daily at 8:00 am EST.
- Select .csv format.
- Add recipient as: topline-sales@connexity.com
- Click Schedule.
- Save the report to finish automating the report.
Step 4: Test and Verify
All done! Please contact your Connexity Account Manager after the above setup is complete. During this stage our team will verify the tracking & reporting setup is working as expected. Once your Account Manager have established that SA360 is functioning properly, you are all set to track on the Connexity network.
